17th August 2014
Windsurfing: Brackelsham Bay
Wind Direction: W
Wind Stength: 25-30
Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot wind swell
Air Temperature: 18
Sea Temperature: 17
Weather: cloudy
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Low - Mid tide on the push. Wind too onshore, but Hayling would have been flat.

Tried the trailer, and TBH it felt rubbish! May have been that board was too big for sea conditions (lumpy out back). Catapulted several times! Board seemed to slow down very quickly when 'bashing' into swells out back instead of going over them.

Once onto 82L sailing improved.

Need to try the Trailer again, pref in 5.7 + waves, or more sideshore
